To qualify as a Professional Applied Kinesiologist (P.A.K.), one must have a license to diagnose illness. The most common professions at this level include medical doctors, chiropractors, dentists and some osteopaths. However, training in basic A.K. is also available to health professionals who do not qualify for P.A.K. status such as physical therapists and medical students. Regulation varies slightly according to individual ICAK chapters.
